Today is market day for many villages. A fun way to spend the morning. When we left our villa for the day, our first stop was across the street. Seafood of all sorts, rotisserie chicken, lamb, pork, rabbit and another meat I was not certain about. We sampled various beverages and meats, then we bought supper. Rotisserie chicken and rotisserie potatoes . We then drove to Bayeux to their market. We bought tomatoes, sausage, cheese, strawberries, and Hankins bought a new watch. I suggested now would be the time for him buy a Rolex. That suggestion fell on deaf ears. After finishing at the market, we stopped at a local restaurant and had a very good lunch.
I don't want you to think that this trip is just about eating, we have other items on the agenda, but that will require another blog entry.
